I think that adding a "For Sale and Wanted" section to the forum would allow users to trade their unwanted bits and pieces easily and be quite an active area for discussion.
I could agree more with a dedicated area for items for sale and wanted, at least the people either selling or looking are on this site for a reason and not time waisting.
