I have been playing this mad game for about 2 years - mostly weekends at Brampton Heath Golf Club - Northamptonshire

My best round is a paltry 91 - but mostly keep scoring late 90's to early 100's

Everyone I play says I have a "really good" swing but for some reason when the ball is in the way I have been starting to take divots no matter which club I select.

Anyone got any ideas??

Hi Topov,

One thing u could try to stop taking so much divot is maybe put the golf ball more forward in your stance. So u r more hitting the ball on the up swing instead of attacking down on it..........Give it a try and let me know how u get on........Paul

Thanks for that info. I will give it a try next week Smile

I did slightly change my practise swing stance & club alignment at address (close as possible to the ball) - this week.

Scored a 45 on front 9 but 54 on back 9 (i wish i could string 18 good holes together Confused

Oh well at tleast the weather was nice Laughing
